Steam have finally released their own app for iPhone and Android mobiles! Many gamers, including myself, have begged for such an application for years but valve didn't release an API key for the steam chat system. The app is free at the moment and I highly doubt they will expect you to pay for such app when it is released.
Although the application is still in beta and you cant actually use the application (sucks I know) you can still apply for the beta by downloading and logging in. Im guessing your added to a queue and wont actually get accepted for the beta because of the mass amount of people in that queue, but its still worth a try.
Unlike the Windows 7 phone you cant actually play games on the app, which is probably a good thing, but you can keep track of your profile, chat to your friends, access the community and store and more.
