Staff giving rep but can't recieve it

I don't think staff members should be able to give rep if they can't recieve it in return. I got bit bothered by the fact a staff member was trying to get the seller to give him his ebook for free because he didn't want to pay for the item so I called him out because his reply was something like "I'll happily review this for you" yet there was not even a hint of him wanting a review or a staff members validation in his post. After I called him out he deleted the thread and gave me a neg 30 calling me a "stupid user"

His reply after that was simple to "fuck off mate"

so very unproffessional as a new member this makes me want to leave but i'd rather expose this then just let the other users take this abuse.
 
Stop complaining and get over it. Staff have enough shit on them. Especially @"Michael". He's still learning his ABCs. <3

If you were not idiotic enough, it stated he would happily give one vouch copy out.

We are already limited to many things and my reputation was legitimate. Stop being such a prick, and you wouldn't have gotten yourself into this.
 
Vouch copy = He wants someone to test his product & review it for him & other potential buyers. So lashing out was just for sheer boredom, I'm assuming. Or you didn't read the entire original post. Staff's reputation is disabled for a good reason... in my opinion. No staff would be promoted to staff if they were even the slightest bit non-reputable.
 
The main point of this thread, I don't the staff really need to be granted Reputation because of 2 things.

1. It's good that they are staff.

2. They can edit there reputation. ( At least I think )

Okay let's clear this up @V I P staff and only staff are allowed to ask for a vouch copy. He was perfectly within his limits to ask, whether you disagree with that or not. But @Michael it is your job to correct and help new members. Your hostility was unnecessary and does reflect poorly on how people perceive you. I really think you should remove that rep and fix this.

Not hostile in any way. My correction was literally in the OP itself, I didn't even have to post.

I will remove the reputation if I receive some sort of apology.
 
Your staff. You shouldn't be black mailing people for an apology. You sicken me. I have no idea how you have staff. Black mailing, lowest of the low.

Are you that idiotic that you simply cannot tell that I WILL remove the reputation if the user apologises to me. Black mailing would be threatening to give negative points to the user if he doesn't apologise.

For the second time, don't get involved in things you shouldn't.
 
Im saying its black mailing because he has done nothing wrong, he's only standing up for a new user. I'm guessing thats not aloud?

What on earth are you talking about "standing up for a new user"? Do you even know what is going on? This is all about a vouch copy.

For the 3rd time, don't get involved in things you shouldn't.
 
I do agree it was a bit harsh to -30 a new member. But this kind of stuff happens and the only thing you can do is get used to it.
