I am married to Italian. He loves pasta and pizza. At first, I honestly didn't know how to cook spaghetti in his own way but when I started learning cooking his way, I definitely don't stop cooking and eating it! I just wanna share one of my favorites.

Spaghetti with Tuna
1/2 cup extra virgin olive oil
1 small onion, chopped
2 cloves garlic, chopped
2 cups canned chopped tomatoes
170g can tuna chunks in olive oil, drained and flaked
salt and black pepper
340g dried spaghetti
3 tablespoons chopped fresh flat-leaf parsley

Procedure
1. Heat the oil in a large heavy-based frying pan, then gently fry the onion for 5-7 minutes, until softened. Add the garlic and fry for 2 minutes.
2. Increased the heat, then stir in the tomatoes and simmer, uncovered, for 5 minutes. Add the tuna and plenty of pepper (according to your taste). Mix together well, the reduce the heat and simmer for 20-25 minutes, until the sauce has thickened.
3. Meanwhile, cook the pasta in plenty of boiling salted water, until tender but still firm to the bite, then drain. Transfer to a warmed serving bowl, spoon over the sauce and toss well. Sprinkle over the parsley before serving.

* It is really easy to do. You must try it at home so you could taste italian food at home and avoid spending much money in italian restaurants.

Have a happy cooking! :)

Wow! I think we should try to suggest a recipe thread lol. I'm thinking of posting some those recipes that I can cook. Thanks for sharing this one. I wish that those ingredients are available in our place. Sometimes because of our differences in country, we don't have the ingredients for a certain recipe. God bless ^^
