Personally I think it's ridiculous to even so much as theorize for such legislation to come into act, let alone being put into motion. My prediction on what would happen is that the 'deep web' would digress to become a much more orthodox solution of reaping illegal content off the internet...
This will definitely be interesting.

I honestly didn't pay attention to the whole SOPA issue seeing as there would be so many issues if it had actually passed. I'm pretty sure they'll try to reintroduce it in another name with different limitations

edit: even if SOPA did pass, they couldn't stop what happened under the web if you understand what I'm saying.

SOPA and PIPA is they pass will pretty much shut down the entire internet. Everything with a copyrighted image would be gone. Including this site just because of one signature. Hopefully this or nothing like it will ever be passed.

I think the government is being bold.
To target something that has such a big influence on pretty much everybody's daily life, would be damn near idiotic. Kinda fishy.
I believe that SOPA and PIPA are somewhat of a distraction to blind sight us for something passing under the radar.
