Some sort of chat box or chat system

I think the site should consider implementing some sort of chat or shout system, like a little chat box, or even an instant messenger at the bottom of your screen where you can easily talk to members. I think that it could potentially attract a new set of members and maybe save some unnecessary posts, I realize there is a message system but it would be nice to have something quicker, maybe you can just make it for someone with a certain amount of posts or someone who has donated/upgraded on the site..
