[SOLVED] New 'lock request' report option

[Solidify]

Rather than have to report a topic as 'other' to have staff lock it for you, I move we implement a new report option entitled 'lock request' or something of that similar nature. My reasoning is that it will make the process of locking threads much quicker and easier for staff.

See, some people try to abuse powers such as this. I highly support this but there are always people who ABUSE an additional feature they obtain. Sometimes this could just lead to reporting random posts due to the fact that they want to be apart of staff. But I support. GL

I don't understand how people reporting random posts would make themselves seem apart from staff. Could you elaborate on that?

Closing threads yourself would be a privilege, not a right. You'd have to earn it, by upgrading your account of something. This is a suggestion for 'in-the-meantime' solution.

I would automatically know to lock the thread and I wouldn't have to read through the whole thread to see if OP wrote "sttaf plz clos diz~~~"

I support this as well, and as Solidify said, it should be earned by upgrading to Elite or something.

The report option has been added, still working on adding a feature for RG Elite's and Sponsors to close their own threads.
