Hey guys, some of you know that I have broken my ankle. I have a cast on and I am being mobilized by crutches. I haven't been to school since the break and I am starting this Friday. I don't know what to do. I am already severely depressed going to school being able to walk, now everybody is going to be staring and judging me. I'm terrified with the thought of going to school with crutches. I don't know what to do. I leave 20 minutes before last period, I only have one long ramp which basically leads to all classrooms that are upstairs. I'm scared of getting to class late and everyone looking at me whilst trying to find a seat. Please help me..
 
Only advice I can give is try not to sweat it. I think you're thinking too much of this whole thing.

Honestly, nobody is going to judge you. Ive never seen someone in school with crutches and thought "wow, what a nerd"
 
Bro. I had crutches before in school and it's no big deal. If someone starts something you have two perfect weapons.
 
Dude you have nothing to worry about. One its obvious youre not crippled for life, imagine how worse that would be. Two its the equivalent of walking in school with a broken arm in a strap people are just going to ask what happened. IF anything you will get sympathy not judgement.

Think about it, I mean rrreally think about it. Are people really going to think:

"oh wow, that faggot is on crutches. get a life!"

"ha ha ha he is using crutches"

"oh he is using that as an excuse" (if they do think that, its followed up with: "lucky ass")


If anything you MAY get from random girls that you may not even know:

"aw I wonder what happened? Im going to go ask him"

"aw poor guy, he seems sweet and harmless im going to talk to him perhaps give him a blowjob in the basement"

No one will care to be honest. Tons of people come to school in crutches and don't say anything.

Jesus Christ... Michael calm down bro. If you re-evaluate your situation it's not that bad. You know how many people break there arms or legs and shit. I personally just past by it's not like people are gonna come up to you and call u a loser... u need to calm down :(
 
I broke my ankle once and nobody looked at me weirdly but instead felt sorry for me, da bitches wanted to sign my cast, and people were carrying stuff around for me. there is nothing bad about this.

This other time I broke my shoulder and my teachers didn't make me do HW lol and I never had to make it up.
 
At least you're decent enough to wear a cast, I fractured my ankle hardflipping a bank and walked around limping like a dickhead instead of being smart. Thats when people looked at me weirdly. You'll be fine dude.
 
Thank you for the help everyone but I am generally an extremely anxious person. I can't handle being under huge amounts of pressure. School starts in 3 more days and I am panicking so much..

Honestly bro, be straight up with yourself. Go to the school principal, or ask your parents or someone important in your life that you have severe anxiety and you can't be around to many people cause you might feel like they are judging you or whatever. Maybe they'll put you in Home Studies, Home Schooled, whatever you want to call it because of the situation. But then again, I think it's better for you to just try it out. Just go to school and see how you feel around people, and how people treat you for at least a week. If things are going bad, just go ahead and speak to your parents and tell them you don't feel comfortable going to school because you feel people are mistreating you.

Thanks man, I still didn't go on Friday. I'll try it out for a few days.
 
Bro its no big deal. I had to go to school with some fucking big ass walking boot when I broke my foot. No one cared at all. Its normal shit to everyone in school by now. Im guessing your in High School so everyone should be mature enough not to say shit. Just go and after that first day you will be fine. You will never know untill you try.
