As chewbaka posted, there has been some activity in runescape's forums stating that players want to take action in stopping botters. Thread: http://services.runescape.com/m=forum/forums.ws?14,15,384,62462908,goto,1

How to avoid them?

WELL there are several ways

1. Find out the times they bot and avoid at all costs!

ALL The dates of when they are bot hunting:
-(F2P) Friday 25th March 21:00 GMT (9:00 PM)
-(P2P) Saturday 26th March 15:00 GMT (3:00 PM)
-(F2P) Sunday 27th March 14:00 GMT (2:00 PM)
-(P2P) Friday 1st April 21:00 GMT (9:00 PM)
-(P2P) Saturday 2nd April 13:00 GMT (1:00 PM)
-(F2P) Saturday 2nd April 17:00 GMT (5:00 PM)
-(P2P) Saturday 2nd April 21:00 GMT (9:00 PM)
-(F2P) Sunday 3rd April 10:00 GMT (10:00 AM)
-(P2P) Sunday 3rd April 15:00 GMT (3:00 PM)
- I will keep this updated

2. Join the hunt, and find out how they trap the botters, then either inform the bot you are using's owner or figure a way to bypass it.

3. They tend to only work on weekends and fridays. Solution? Bot while your at school

4. Keep a sharp eye on your computer

If you have any more tips, post below :)

Thanks and enjoy,

It's pretty sad I got to admit. Most bots have features for anti ban. But either way I wish them the best of luck...sike.

Just make sure your not botting during the time/day their looking, and they only go looking on Friday, Saturday and Sunday.

I bot at the theiving guild and i do agility course? How could they possibly mess me up?

Do dung botting because they can't get into the dungeon you are doing and thus can't trap you.

This is very true, I actually suggest people do this.

thank u was unaware of this!

For those of you suggesting this be in the Botting section, please be aware he is showing skills that botting gave him and "showing off" those skills.

Your post couldn't be more incorrect. I believe that I am actually giving tips to prevent users on this forum from being banned, not showing off my skills -.-''

Last time I checked jmods can go anywhere, including phased areas like quests/dungeons/random events.

Omg, f**kin' wannabes. These people really annoying me. They haven't thought about what RS would be like without them...

100% botters RSGP worth $0 and no one playing the game?

That sounds fun. Think about what you're saying, they're a big part in runescape.
