Smithing?

I have 47 smithing, and I want to get it to 70. What is the fastest way, I don't care about making money, to get it to 70? Most xp per hour?

If you have the money + good patience.
You can get your mage and smithing up at the same time getting 99 mage.

Well, mage up would be cool. I have 67 mage atm, and 47 smithing. I don't want to spend more than 1m RSGP, and I would like to make some of it back.

Yes, just buy bars and smith, you might want to use a calculator to see how many you need to make until next platebody.

I was reading through a Smithing guide for you and one person recommended botting the artisan smithing minigame (The Artisans Workshop is a Smithing workshop located in the southeastern corner of Falador) with iron ingot(I).

@Joel - I honestly don't know what most of those things were that you said. I don't know a lot of stuff that members can do, although this is like my 4th time being members.

Making gold bars with goldsmith gaunts gets about 130k xp/hr and is one of the cheapest methods

I am going to try and get the goldsmith gaunts to get my level to 48 (4k xp left) then I will be doing steel plate bodies with sacred clay hammer.

Just superheat gold ore into gold bars with goldsmith gauntlets on. It's really really fast.

I spent like 10m to get to 70 smithing.
1m is nothing once you pay for enough mithril/addy bars.
