Super random thread I just thought of, maybe a really dumb idea but I thought it sounded cool. Are there any popular "slang" words that are commonly said, but might've originated from where you live? Or are there any terms that are only used where you live?

Examples for me are "hella" (Bay Area) and actually "420" which is super popular nowadays. 420 actually came from the public high school near me.

What about you guys?

We say hella here in NJ, also call people "sus" or "suspects" if they're a little, well, you know, ha.

I started the slang "Meth" and you use it like the word dope. (Example: That gamertag is pretty meth, bro!"

ohh kill'em

Never do that again, unless you were to shake it like a rednose then slow down.

Hella is super common here, in Cali.

We use f*ggot as idiot

Yeah, "hella" seems to be a lot more vague on where it originated from, but everyone sorta agrees it came from the bay area. "420" is a lot more specific where it exactly came from which I think is really cool because it came from the high school I would be going to

Here in Australis we use the word 'lad' to describe those kids wearing dri-fits, bum bags, Adidas shorts and ugly maxies (similar to 'chavs' in England.)
