So over the past 2+ weeks, I have been ddosed constantly by a player that used to be on my Minecraft server. He was banned for hacking, then started ddosing the server. That was bad, but we could wait until it was up. Then he started ddosing select staff, and since I'm head admin/owner on it, I was one of them. My step mom runs a small buisness from home because she can't keep a job, so this affects her work. This kid also rooted our hosting company and gave himself op on the server (op = access to all commands). He's from hack forums, and is pretty hated on there. So his dox was kinda easy to find.

I called up my idk (att) last night, and the rep told me to do some things in my router to confirm it was a ddos, then he said to screenshot the NAT log showing the incoming ips, and sending them to the FCC Cyber Crime. It's getting out of hand and it needs to stop, but the kid is only 16. Part of me says do it, and lock him up for harassment and cyber crime (he found the owners phone number and called it. He also broadcasted the owners bank info in gave with x's, but the part he showed was correct. And he took the owners Minecraft account by going into his email. He also threatened to swat us over Skype).

Tl;dr: should I report a hacker to the FCC Cyber Crime central?

NOTE: Yes, I have admitted to having a booter. But I never target one person for more than an hour. 2+ weeks is kinda much. The att rep also hosted a mc server (really shocking tbh), so hes been through it before.

Just do it man, fuck him for fucking with you.

I'd warn the kid first, & if he continues being a fuck ass nigga then go for it.

do it mate. I used to get ddosed alot back in the day, it sucked.

It's affecting your mother's business, therefore potentially threatening your lifestyle as you know it. (short or long term, doesn't matter, the fact is that he's damaging it)

If it were me I'd warn him and give him a 3 (or however many) day period where if he hits you off, you make that call and report him.

Obviously if he waits til after the period you set, give that kid a reality check.

acually send me his phone number to if its in his dox or his moms i will pretend im from his isp and say i see he's been ddosing people offline which can lead to 10 years in fed prison im pretty sure his mom wont let him online for awhile after i say that

Set up a proxy so that when he tries to do it again you can catch his ip. And honestly I would get a putty code and fry the fuck out of his router after you get his ip. Also you could get a static ip so it changes ever few seconds or a mirrored ip so when he tried hitting you it would hit him instead of you
