Selling a Tumblr?

I have a single character tumblr url. I'm not here to sell it. I'm wondering what a fair price would be to expect for it, and if I were to sell it, how I could do it safely, without having the account simply deactivated by Tumblr, or getting scammed by the buyer. I've been offered $275 and $200 by random people, as opening bids. Of course, even if that was enough to convince me to sell, who knows if they'd follow through…

I bet you could pull $400 or more. I think anything higher is ridiculous, but people will pay whatever

btw the url in question is "i" - just didn't want the people over there to find this thread by googling the full url.

But how do you sell these things without getting burned? Since it's not allowed anyway, it's not like if someone doesn't pay you can go to Tumblr or the police…

I would recommend using a very trusted member of the forum, most likely an admin.

For instance Christy is a middle women.

Why would you need proof of it? It's not like he's selling it.

I'm willing to sell it if someone bids enough, and it seems safe. I have a feeling this isn't where I'll end up finding that, but I'll entertain any offers.
