rune gear dead?

I'm not sure but It looks like this forum is going down hill.
It'll be back up on it's feet in no time.
 
Why is everyone so quick to say the site's dead or in the process of dying?

How to make people active:
Step 1: Make high quality threads
Step 2: Stop complaining
Step 3: ???
Step 4: Profit!
 
tl;dr

Load of bullshit. Look at it my way. It's the Christmas holidays, The Elite is obviously really busy. Just be patient and wait for the competition to happen.

I never knew he can be on holiday for almost a month now.
the contest is not going to happen.
 
Fair to say its dead now, i dont see it coming back, the elite doesnt even post.

only the same like 5-15 people are posting.
 
The bot bust really hit us and runescape in general pretty hard

It's the main reason.

I don't even know much about Runescape, but I know most "runescapers" search for runescape forums wanting to learn to bot, or something along those lines. Botting was huge.

If everyone who wanted to cheat Runescape left Runegear, it's bound to die.

Can I ask how this increases the population and gets our members back to being active?
In this case there was no reason why would had to post those steps.

Because if their is a high quality thread people are more likely to post on it which increases activity which stops people complaining about inactivity :)

People don't post if there's nothing to post about. Think about that.
 
What do you expect? Most legit people don't go on forums because they are too busy playing legit. So when almost all of our members bot Runescape, what's their reason to say if they quit?
