rsps would be a no go. Odds are someone will just come up with a source they completely leeched plus runescape sucks anyway.

I doubt you will code a dayz/minecraft/blah blah source from scratch.

I'll have you know that i'm the best blah blah coder in the world.

Anyways, i was kinda hoping for gmod or minecraft, mainly because with those 2 you can add so much custom shit to it its rediculous. + pay to receive access to specific server commands would be a good way to get money for the forums. Would be a good way to get the forum to grow.

Idk how the RSPS is going to turn out in the end, but it looks like its going to (or it already has?) win.

I can manage the garrys mod server, I have well over 6 years experience with garrysmod and LUA.

This man knows what he is doing, implement a Garry's mod server.

Just messing around with a 704+ server ^^.

(I'm trying to figure out how to keep them still in their world tile)

(Currently editing all shops, keeping this one, but changing it from tokens to gp)

Honestly, a RSPS wouldn't be bad, but I think Garry's Mod would be a great server.

Carbon has offered to even host one/code plugins for it and what not. Multiple people have said they would also donate specifically for a GMod server, so I'd go with Garry's Mod.

I'll donate fo the upkeep of the GMod server for 1-2 months.
Just get someone to code the gamemode with the other donations.

i didnt really like the idea of a rsps as the RG server. Many of us on the forums atm dont play RS anymore, and...well... to be honest I dont see it attracting much attention for new people.

A gmod server would be great for advertisement for the forum, and it would be a good way to make money. Cash for access to server commands, bonus things, new items for rank-specific things, and a advertisement notice on the screen that pops up when you join the server, advertising the RG website and server rules. TBH I think it would be the best.

Minecraft would be good too. I don't see why a Minecraft server and a RSPS can't be run in the same VPS. Plus also there will be only like 10 (or even less) people.
