Respect List

I've seen a lot of people adding their "homies" to their signatures. So I tought why not make a respect list that can be edited freely and it appears on the member's profile.

Doesn't really appeal to me, it's really pointless. It wouldn't really make any sense to add to be honest. You have a buddy list.

I believe this wouldn't be needed. Keep the signatures, and we have a kudos system to show "respect." Bright idea though.

Utilize the buddy list feature (Buddy/Ignore Lists). If you are still wanting to publicize your buddies, give them a shoutout through your signature like many users have been doing. A publicly viewable buddy list is just not needed, however, it is a neat suggestion.

I don't care who your buttbuddies are. Seems pointless to me.
