Resigning System

Okay so the resign system, is that someone states they are leaving ForumKorner, after that, they will receive an award (Legacy?) whatever the name may be. Then, they will loose their rank. Their rank will be randomly given away to any non-upgraded member. For example, I leave ForumKorner and I get an award, get demoted to a member, and all my ranks, (Onyx, Power) will be passed on to a random person. What do you think? I like it, its kind of a positive thing for upgraded members to leave.

How do you accept, to keep the site up if phillly isnt getting money :/

But what if you ever decide to come back? That is the main problem with this.

I think only one "rank" should be given away, incase the person wants to come back.

I think its a cool idea, but its never going to happen. Inactive people may always come back, and with the giving away of upgrades all the time from inactive members, the site would make barely any revenue.

Can't see it happening. I disagree. What if the user leaves? He paid for upgrades. It would be unfair.
