Reporting gamertags?

Does xbox still give you a free name change if your gamertag gets reported enough?

Not sure really. Some people are saying that no, now they just give you a generated name and you have to pay 800 MSP/$10 to change it, while others are saying you can still get a free name change with it. My friend got a FNC about 2 weeks ago and he got to pick a name for free.

I heard your name has to be something inappropriate. I don't believe this is confirmed though because when I had my gamer tag: Grape. I used to literally tell my haters to report my gamertag because it had "rape" in it. I had it until its death. I do not believe you can do this glitch anymore unless it is vulgar(ex. I Rape Children) or a real persons name(ex. Mike Smith). Hope this helped.

It has to actually be offensive though, once a tag is reported it goes to Xbox Ambassadors for them to choose if it's offensive or not, and if it isn't, nothing will happen.
