Imagine this, you know how if people reported you for botting and jagex reviewed the report and banned you? Well what if a lot of the botters are random days just spammed reports with random usernames, you wouldn't be reporting botters but just reporting random legit people to flood jagex's report que so they have to do all this work?

Reports are dealt with in the order they're given, if 100k botters all spamming reports did this every now and again jagex would be so behind in reports it wouldn't even be funny, their 200 employees would be outmatched,

Someone made a bot that does this a LONG ASS TIME AGO.
I think it was on RSF though.
That must have been ages ago.
like
a million years ago
back in the stone age.
Cavemen walking around and such.

Damn, that's not that bad of an idea.
But obviously you'd have to do it on a new level 3, because you'd get banned for abusing the report abuse system.

I am with you with this
Tell me when and where and Ill be there with 5 accounts Fucking reporting all them legit fuckers
Playing legit is the real macro

I doubt they would ban 100k people, it'd take years to review all of those reports. I think though if we got 10k people doing this every now in again and more and more eventually the report button would be removed.

I believe this would work,

Only problem is 1 report per minute, but else it would work.

All reports are automated, legitimate players wouldn't get banned, botters would. Bad bot.

Sucks that I'm going to be the only person to say this but.. I think it's a bad idea,
Jagex will eventually get around to reviewing all those reports. If Jagex is behind on reports by a month hypothetically, then you're just going to have a delayed ban. It'd suck tremendously losing a whole months worth of work on an account just because the report queue was a little long, in the end it's inevitable.

I see how this could work in so many ways. They would have to do something new and it would destroy bot busters.

Just make a report account in the lobby and have it use the hiscores list. The lobby doesn't have a time limit.

Think 10,000 people running a bot 24/7 that reports people down the hiscores list in the lobby with no time limit.

I'm sure that if Jagex sees a user with 400 reports in one day they won't review them or will skim over it.

I don't think it would work, they'd get past it somehow

The thing is though we would keep spamming it so they never get around to those reports, plus they have 200 workers, they're not going to be able to solve 100k reports in a timely fashion if at all.

It's going to be hard to skim 10k players reports, or more.

I think if you report people while your on the lobby their is no waiting time.
