Remove Kudos

Maybe kudos name should be changed to "Likes" or "Thanks"?

It should either be removed, or atleast given an actual purpose rather than just being a number..

Kudos serve the purpose of you wanting to recognize someone in some way for a post they did.

That wouldn't affect how useful they are.. At all.. No point in changing the name, as kudo is a synonym to thank.

They could instead quote @White and say that they agree with what he said... Which would promote forum activity and also bump the thread so others could share their opinion.

I personally registered on there a couple months ago, logging in every few days. I really don't like the community or site layout at all, and also, I cannot STAND Cake. Not in the way like Omni, where you can respect him for succeeding and knowing how to be an admn, but in a general strong dislike.
Anyways, this is the wrong place and time for a debate on LSX, so let this end that.

Guessing that I am a multi? That is very foolish of you, as I am active on various other forums. I found this forum from a scam report on the owner on another forum, actually... Which is quite funny.. LOL. If you'd like proof that I'm not a multi accounter, go ahead and PM me. Instead of assuming I multi accounted, why not assume that I actually read the help docs? ROFL

So five users posting in agreement is less useless than five users giving Kudos? Yeah, right.

Why is this thread still open if an administrator already denied the suggestion?

However, those would become varios post boosts, this is an effective way to cut back spam. The point is, I made a joke because of a thread @Trojan had, and it was appreciated. So they gave me a thanks.
 
How about we just keep Kudos. They aren't hurting anyone are they?

They are hurting the efficiency of the servers... And wasting disk space. As they have no point, they're wasting the server's speed, and wasting users bandwidth by having to add those few bytes per every post per page.

I like kudos, it's keeps me from having to post every time I agree with someone.
