Recon?

It's no longer rare, you can mod the achievements and have it in no time.
I remember how rare it was back in the day, though. It was rare to even see someone with it. Ah, those were the good days.

Didn't only Bungie employees have it at one point?
If you got into a game and someone had recon everyone started screaming.
 
Not rare at all many people on the game have it.

It's not like it's something you needed a code for.

I remember running into someone who got it from Bungie a few years back. If I remember correctly, he got it by getting 7 EXP at the time of 7:00 on Bungie Day or something like that.

I really miss the old Halo 3 days.

If you beat Bungie on Bungie day in a slayer match then they'd give it to you.

I used to love everything about Bungie and Halo. Damn, sometimes I really wish I could go back to those days.

It was always fun staying up all night during Bungie Day.
