@cas you are on point with this post. I was thinking somewhat the same thingcas said:Yet people, specimens are lost. We look for something to guide us, we all do. Whether it be a divine figure, an idol, an emotion, a goal, etc. It eases the mind to think life after all this is better. I'm not completely sure about the whole heaven concept. The limbo concept intrigues me. Had I known for a fact there was a heaven, I'd be slitting my wrist right now. But then again, it's a sin to kill thyself, even when you're going through a lot, right? But then again, everyone is forgiven? Back and forth.
Religion is great for those who're easily persuaded. However, they don't study it enough. I've read a bit on another branch of religion following the book of nephi and the holy spirit sent down to guide him. However, I can't grasp everything and it's principles in modern day society as it's so corrupt and self-contradicting. Greed and Pride are both sins. However one should value themselves, correct? Pride and status quo once led to indulgences being sold during the time of the Renaissance. Both parties in the irony were at fault. Basically, give them cash, and you bought your way into heaven. If anyone wants to add into this, feel free to. I may not know more than most, but I do my research and I'm not as clueless as I come off to be most of the time.coltie2 said:@cas you are on point with this post. I am a sinner, who's probably gonna sin again. Lord forgive me.
