Reading for Dummies

Okay so I happen to be a fan of reading the dummy books, their extremely acknowledging and sometimes they give me a laugh.

Last night I finished reading "Networking for Dummies", definitely took a while, I usually read before bed maybe 5-20 pages, unless I'm quite tired.

After that I started on "Hacking for Dummies", I haven't quite gotten into the actual book yet, still reading all the stuff before the chapters.

Does anyone else here like reading Dummy books? If so which ones.

Nope never done this lol

I think it's good how they add knowledge and humour into the one, I can learn more in 30 hours of reading the Dummies than I would 30 hours of hands on work.
Of course hands on work is more important but learning an incredible amount to expand your brain of the basic knowledge for that subject is just amazing and just so simple to do.

What is this book you speak of? Ah just kidding, I've read a few of them. The ones regarding complex subjects actually go into depth. Out of the few I read I'd have to say the best was Objected Oriented Programming.

The other day I saw a torrent for over a 100 of them but it just wouldn't feel the same, personally I'd rather spend $40 bucks on each then have them all for free on my computer, I plan on having a nice collection of them in the future so I can revise when I'm doing Tafe'.
