why is it that when i go to make a 3 letter. it says this gamertag does not exist on XBL but when i go to change my tag to it. it says. Gamertag Taken

WTF someone explain

As in you or no one else will ever have it again.

Apparently all of the available 3 character gamertags were taken. Don't further bother trying to get any, as you'll just be wasting your time.

im pretty sure you CANT make three letters even if there available. all the available ones got permanently deleted. and whenever i new one does come available ( someone changing there name ) it gets permanently deleted aswell.

I could be wrong but from my understanding this is what happens.

That's false.
I had G9H, and I swapped it from one account to another 3 weeks ago with no issues.
You just can't make new ones anymore I believe.

okay. and the same thing happens to me with spaced tags. whats going on guys explain

The gamertag could be either deleted or it may even be a v1.

My thought would be that back in like WaW's prime, spaced tags were like the cool thing, like oG's are now. Spaced tags were really popular and maybe some people snagged some oGs that were unspaced and made them spaced. Not for sure, just my thought on it.

Yeah, no problem. I miss CoD in 2008-9): but a lit of tags like 'P u b s t a r' and z D e f u z e' were popular, they werent always oGs but a lot were spaced. Like 1-2 per lobby.
