which do you think is higher? bots or legitimate players? discuss :)
 
It's about 100,000:150,000

You can tell because 250,000~ players online, system update, 150,000~ players online
 
that's true but I still believe there's more bots than legit players.. take into consideration that some players who may have been botting at the time of update start to play legit for a little bit until the bots are updated :p

the amount also that they ban is ludicrous compared to the influx of new botters :|

Ikr.... it's crazy. They ban like 1 in a thousand bots or something.
 
Ermm how about in between? I don't bot skills but do stuff like AutoFlax, etc..
 
Eh i just bot money making skills, to be honest there the most boring and id rather just do something while they make my money. :)

Ok then. To be honest Jagex make training so boring that anyone that can get a 99 without getting bored to hell is too hard. If leveling required any animations/buttons than just CLICKING than there would be a lot less botters
 
We'll probably 35% of Runescape players bot.
 
I'd say about 50/50 at the most. But that's probably at night. During the day I'd say 30/70. 30% being botter, 70% being legit players.

I doubt half of runescape players even know where to get a bot from..

it's hard to know xD
but they could just hold a huge inquest on all of the players using unsigned clients if they really wanted to narrow down their banhammer.

I always use signed, so do most botters, but I guess it could help them.

Jagex stated they have 100 million active users.
You'd think there would be at least 1 million people registered at Powerbot.. but no,
I think it's probably 10% of users who bot x there multiple accounts.

This is most probably the most possible theory so far.
Low level of botters, but with tons of accounts.
 
lol,there are definitely way more bots than legit players. Yesterday I was at east bank in Varrock and there were just 500 bots running Essence -_-
