I was wondering how much ram costs per gb. I heard it was really pricey (40$ for 1gb?)

Agreed it depends on how much you want (1,2,3,4,6,8 GB) what kind (DDR,DDR2,DDR3) For A desktop OR Laptop and how how fast you want it (800mhz, 12000mhz, 1333mhz, etc) alot of this is going to be determined by what motherboard you have.

there re many different types of ram, built for different comps. etc. so it depends on what u have.

I get ram for free so i don't have to pay for any, thanks to my job..hehe

But useally they cost..

- 2gb $ 59

it depends on the type of ram you need and the place you buy it from.
