(Question) Freezing Xbox NO RROD

Well I'm trying to play Black ops and my xbox literally freezes every 20 minutes. Tried clearing cache, moving power brick, switching position and nothing works. It just freezes, I don't have the rrod or anything. The most irritating part is that I keep getting the stupid 5 minute probation even though I don't really quit out, thanks for any help!

it freezes when it oveheats, and if you continue to keep playing it for long periods of time you can expect a RROD, just give it a break.. i'm sure one day wont hurt you, try that..

I turned it on this morning and it froze lol. It hadn't been on in over 12 hours. I was on netflix all last night and on netflix I never had the problem. Disc is brand new, no scratches or anything.

Well, it could be the disc, if not, it could be the disc tray. All the dust could prevent the disc to be playable.

Cleaned it out a few hours ago, barely any dirt to begin with. I can sit on netflix ALL night and I won't have a problem, play cod and boom.

It may be the disc, i remember when my disc was in good condition but it would not let me play one game without it stopping.

I had the same problem, all you need is a cooler, I'd suggest this one.

Thanks guys. I'm just going to put a fan near it and see if it helps, if it does I guess I'll he getting a cooler, thanks to all that made an attempt!

A fan definitely helps my Xbox. I just face it towards it and it stops.

Try getting a 12 volt fan or just letting it cool down

I doubt it's the fan. I literally have a fan blowing on it at high speed and it keeps fucking freezing.
