Question about using MSN?

Would the username be like an email like ******@msn.com or if it was ex; penislovinghomo@msn.com would someone add me as "penislovinghomo" or "penislovinghomo@msn.com .
I want an MSN but I wanna know if it would be like a username or email .

its all email based not username
