QUESTION ABOUT TENURE

So basically, a few years back I made an xbox live account and added a 3 month to it, I then added another month about a month after it expired, (expired on 11/5, added back on 12/6, then after that 1 month ran out, I re added another one month on february 6th, , after that ran out, it stood silver, should I have a tenure? I had this ordeal before and my account tenure continued, just asking to make sure I don't sell a tag without tenure and waste the guy's gold. Thanks!

I'm pretty sure that you need to have an on going xbox live membership to get tenure, for example you would need to have xbox live gold for three years without it going silver. But i may be wrong :/

I don't believe you need membership at all times. My friend didn't have live for like 6 months, he recently added gold and still had hi tenure.

Same thing with a tenure I sold lethal, had it when it had 2 yrs, then didn't play for a while and came back and had 4

From my experience it goes by the amount of gold you add. So if you added a 3 month, and 4 1 months you would still need 5 more months of gold to receive a 1 year tenure. You also guaranteed will not receive a tenure until the gold is up, so you actually have to be gold for a year in total prior to getting the tenure.
