Promotions tomorrow...

I have my promotions In ROTC and Army tomorrow. I will be promoted to E8 in ROTC and a E3 in the Army for being in ROTC for 3 years. I also have a field trip to a AirForce base in Tuscon at 6am tomorrow. Can't wait!

Army = well, the army.
ranks go E1, E2, E3, E4, E5, E6 etc. *It means Enlisted*
Then you get into your officer ranks which are O1, O2 etc.

ROTC = Reserve Officer Training Corps
If you complete the ROTC program through college, after 4 years you will graduate and become an officer. It's a pretty legit program.

I'm in JROTC at the moment and doing ROTC in college in 2 years. Then doing Ranger school. After 3 years of JROTC, you become a E3.

I'm in the Army Reserve as Military Police. I'm doing Reserve until the end of college. Then I'm switching over to Ranger school.

No other good job as Reserve lol. In the Middle East in Iran, Iraq and what not, the Military Police dog handler is worth $250,000 and the dog is worth $500,000. They hate those dogs. I'm going into the K9 unit soon. Fun fact for the day haha. Hope I don't get captured o.0

I was going to go into Military or Police dog handling many years ago, but then I ended up dropping into my current job :/

Its pretty hard to get a job dog handling in the UK as well.

Pretty easy in our Army. You just have to love dogs and must beable to bond with them quickly. Its a tough job.

I love my dogs more than my family lol.
Only ever come across 1 dog that wasnt okay with me, and that was a rescue dog that had been beaten and abused for 4 years and so it didnt like any men at all. It bit me on the face, and fuck me did it hurt.

I think the main reason why its harder here is simply down to the size of the country, obviouslly with supply and demand etc.
