I agree with all of you, that every parent of the Palmyra H.S. has a right to know what is going on. I am going to tell you exactly what is going on. As I am directly involved in the situation. I am the mother of the student involved. My daughter called me from school one day and asked me to bring her a bra because hers broke. I brought one in for her, in a little victoria's secret bag that still had the tissue paper in it so that I could wrap the bra up so that it was covered. I left it with the secretary at the front desk and asked her to call her down right away because it was something that she needed. All was well until about 3 weeks later when I got an anonymous letter in the mail, everything had been typed, including my name and address, informing me that dr. ruby had taken a picture of my daughters bra and sent it to the entire teaching staff and office staff making a joke out of it. His actual headline of the email was "if you need a laugh." He or someone had actually taken the tissue paper out of the bag and exposed the bra to take the pic. whoever sent the letter (and it obviously came from someone inside the school) sent a copy of his email proving that it came from him and was sent out to the entire school, and also the pic that was taken. I was shocked, sickened, and horrified. And my daughter was mortified and in tears and just kept saying why would someone do this over and over again. Of course I took it to the school who is investigating. He was placed on a leave of absence and then later I heard he was on medical leave which the school claims he had put in for before this occurred. But to say he is not out on disiplinary actions is really not true because he was placed on leave pending the investigation before his "medical" leave kicked in. I'm really not sure how the paper got a hold of this story because I did not go to the paper with this. I wanted to blast it all over the media because I do want people to know what is going on behind closed doors. But I was advised not to. When I saw this, and the comments, I had to say something. Every parent has a right to know! Parents of Palmyra HS children who do not agree with what is going on, attend the school board mtg! It's march 27th at 6PM, if you want to speak you have to call the school by 12PM that day. Our voices need to be heard, we can't just let them sweep things like this under the rug. There is so much more that I want to say, but I have to be careful with my words and just stick to the story. But now everybody on here knows the truth. Also, I would publicly like to thank whoever sent me that anonymous letter. I hope that you read this. Without you sending that to me, I would never have known what was going on, I really appreciate what you did!
R; Student contacted mother asking for a bra, mother brings it in, located inside a bag. Principle gets a hold of it, takes pictures of it, and sends it around to every teacher as a email, joking and making fun if it. Anon teacher sends the mother a letter explaining what has happened, now hes on "medical leave". School wont say a word, and is lying about the situation.
