Presidential debate on.

Your whole post was an opinion, and there is nothing I can say to change it.

okay :)

100% of my post was not opinion. I asked you to find evidence that the report on Denmark's citizens happiness was not the highest in the world. That was not an opinion.

The abortion part was an opinion. I will give you that.

The last part is a fact with an interpretation based on your post.

Romney only paid 14% taxes on his income last year. You said the government was greedy taking 53%. I think Romney was greedy paying the same amount of taxes someone who earns $8,500 to $34,500 pays when he earned around 15 million.

You didn't cite a source, therefore you could have made it up. :D Not going to research something that I don't even know is true.

And you're arguing for the sake of arguing. Stop.

Not that post. Dang dude learn to read.

I did read. My first post was in reference to the happiness of the citizens which I provided indisputable evidence for.

Everyone knows Romney only paid 14% tax last year. I can link to an article if you wish.

Here is a source for the planned parenthood.

Oh, by the way, government funding cannot be used for abortions :)

Miscommunication. That's not the post I was referring to as being an opinion.

Anyways, Romney is a smart business man. Why does it matter if he only paid 14% in taxes?

Also, he donated his fathers inheritance.

That's awesome! He donated some money to charity! He must be a socialist! He spreads wealth to the poor!

It's a problem because he isn't paying his fair share. He earned 14 million dollars and paid 14%. People who earn $8,000 - $34,000 a year pay 15%. Explain how that is fair at all.

From what you just said, then how would it be fair for people who make more to have to pay more? That would be hypocritical.

That's how the world works. The more you make, the more you pay.

No one needs 20 million dollars to live on. When your income is higher so is your disposable income. If he paid 40% his life wouldn't be any worse.

Oh, obviously they would pay more. But it should be the same percent, that is what I meant. That is your definition of fair. Everyone pays the same percent.

If everyone paid 15% the country would be broke.

Here is a quote that is separate from the link above:
"If people need any more concrete explanation of this, start with the staff of life, a loaf of bread. The simplest thing; the poorest man must have it. Well, there are 151 taxes now in the price of a loaf of bread — it accounts for more than half the cost of a loaf of bread. It begins with the first tax, on the farmer that raised the wheat. Any simpleton can understand that if that farmer cannot get enough money for his wheat, to pay the property tax on his farm, he can’t be a farmer. He loses his farm. And so it is with the fellow who pays a driver’s license and a gasoline tax to drive the truckload of wheat to the mill, the miller who has to pay everything from social security tax, business license, everything else. He has to make his living over and above those costs. So they all wind up in that loaf of bread. Now an egg isn’t far behind and nobody had to make that. There’s a hundred taxes in an egg by the time it gets to market and you know the chicken didn’t put them there!" - Ronald Reagan

Also, I never states that it would be 15% for everyone. I was just saying by what YOU said, that it would only be fair if everyone paid the same percent.

I said fair share. I didn't say everyone pays the same.

"The United States currently pays around $20 billion per year to farmers in direct subsidies as "farm income stabilization"[9][10][11] via U.S. farm bills."

I think my posts on this thread were completely educated. You keep flaming people for going off topic on your threads while you do the same.

I would like you to respond to my posts that include sources on them.

I think you're an idiot. Calling you an idiot isn't flaming. It's an opinion that I and a lot of other members share.
