Personally I've been killing flesh crawlers in the stronghold of security. It hasn't been the fastest experience but unlike most range training, you make more money than you lose.
The flesh crawlers drop many herbs like rannars, and have many stackable drops like 4 to 10 noted iron ores and around 120 fire runes, and things of that sort.
I've been discarding any herbs that are worth less than 2k, and after about an hour or so of training here I just banked an inventory of the herbs and got about 200 iron ores and 3000 fire runes.
It has some safespots so it's good for a pure.
