Possible perma ban on RS?

Okay, I've hacked this guy twice, for his bank after he bought gold and the first time nothing happened, he didn't make a big deal about it, but this second time i hacked him he posted in the "i've been hijacked!" thread on the runescape forums and mod weath said:

to the person I hacked, that's what the mod said to him, not me.

Also, i read this on the thread

"If you think you've been hijacked then please post your account name here. We will look into your account, secure it if required and take action against any hijackers we can identify."

Which has me worried that i might get perm banned.

I didn't multi log, but I didn't use a VPN either, I recovered his account via email and went on it and transfered his bank to a friend, then had my friend transfer it back to me.

What is most likely going to happen?

I'm the one who has the money, my friend i used to transfer gave it back to my main.

any have any idea how likely it is for us/me to get banned?
 
In the event they find out your friend muled the money off the account, he could get banned. Don't know how long for though

they wont found out where and how the money was muled, but I'm worried about me, I'm the hijacker but, i just used my friend to xfer.. Why will she face more consequences?

Wouldn't I be the one in more trouble for giong on his account and recovering it, being that our IP addresses are completly different?

He recovered his account now, everything's secure on it, but i'm still worried about my main

anyone..?

Any ideas/suggestions?
 
As an owner of a private server, I can tell you that adding logs for trading/drop trading, etc is not hard at all.
So i'm 99.9% sure Jagex would have the same kind of data logging.

There is possibility of them linking you to the account, which in turn would most likely get you banned.
My best advise is just to not worry and continue playing, as they would easily be able to catch you if they truly investigated it.

I guess if they're 100% sure you were involved in the hacking of the account, you could receive punishment.
Worrying about it won't help you.

Yeah, i'm too worried to continue playing, what's the chances of me getting banned for hacking him and xfering his stuff through a friend?

anyone else have any close experiences or anything relating to this?
 
I've had a few friends that have been banned for hijacking accounts,
but it really depends on how it looks against you and if they bother to do a full investigation on it.

More likely your friend would get banned if anything, but there's still a chance you would be.

about how long does a hijacking offense take to take action approx?

my friend's not muling the money, so idk why she'd get banned :l

that doesn't make sense, i'm the one who hacked the acc and went on it..
 
You'll most likely get banned if they search the IPs and find that they match, etc.
As for your friend, they might get in trouble for helping you.

One of my mates was banned instantly for it, another took a few weeks.

so what should i do? should i stake my bank to a mule account?
 
Should probably put the items/cash pile on another account until you think your account is safe.

Don't sweat it. Jagex usually doesn't care about its customers enough to bother to track you. Even if they do ban you, you can almost always give them $25 to unban your account.
 
I got caught before and they perment ban me, but i was retard and used same ip to hijack as i did on my mule + i traded it.

I find if you drop the stuff and access via diffrent ips then nothing happens, also chagning peoples passes makes the mods mad and more likely to chase you
 
Put all of your items on a different account. Because if you lost them that would suck:/
