For JaGex to stop botting on dragons, and other npcs, couldn't they have a Jmod, turn into one of the dragons, and all the bots will click to attack him, but since it's a player, in the non wild, they won't be able to?

Just a thought.

In theory yes
But I don't want a fire breathing J-mod =)

Well if they attack it and it says 'this npc cannot be attacked' they would know

Then the scripter writes into the bot, if it detects that message, to change NPC.

Pretty simple to get around.

Yes, but obviously this wouldn't be a sure-fire idea to combat bots in the long-haul. This is something that would work to get a group of bots in one shot. Might be something that could be used for a week BEFORE any updates are pushed to have bots work around it. But things like this are easy for Jagex to work around too, they just wont.
