In 2012 there was an interest in a Photography subforum, but, unfortunately, it was never created due to the lack of interest.

If there are enough members interested, I would love to see a subforum located somewhere under the Graphics forum for members to upload work, ask for opinions or help, or even talk about cameras and equipment.

I know there's a minute chance that this subforum will be created, but it would be nice for members to come closer together to interact over the things we love. Even if an photography subforum could not be created, we could create a "Hobbies" subforum where everyone could post.

Take it into consideration, Papa @"Philly". :*

I think this would be interesting i might even post in that forum and not troll.
if there is a part of the forum where lame123 won't troll, then sign me up!

jk bruh you can troll me anytime :)

This is a good idea in my eyes, the industry of photography is booming right now. And even if it doesn't work out to well, it can always be changed to hobbies.

I suggested this last month, but it didn't get enough support to be added. I would love for this to be added, I'm a huge fan of photography and would be extremely active in a subforum dedicated to it.

Instead if actually creating a subforum that's open, why not someone create a group dedicated to photographers were to get in you have to present work you've done to get in, this way only members into photography can share and talk.

Still wouldn't be a dedicated subforum to photography that everyone could see. While it's a good idea, it'd be a private subforum.

It'd be limited and wouldn't be site-wide.

@tempts @sector it wouldn't be yes but those who show interest could join, I can see flaws with trolling and just another hassle for mods

A group would be a good idea for those that have knowledge and expertise in the subject. By presenting the userbar, users that are not in the group, but have an interest in photography, would know whom to ask for expertise regarding his/her matter.

I'd also want people around the Internet to join ForumKorner due to seeing the photography subforum. I also don't understand how it would be a hassle for moderators, as it is simply another subforum.

I can understand your desire for a photography subforum, Im minoring in photography because its a hobby for me, but the truth is one point or another someone will start the trolling, eventually it'll become a hassle to the mods. a photography subforum thats trolled isn't an ideal way to attract new members.

There's plenty of trolls in all of the other sections, trolls shouldn't stop a new subforum for being created. I think the Photography subforum would be really good and could bring plenty of new members to the site.
