The point system is now live!
This means that every user will earn points for every post and thread made. Additionally, the creator of a thread will earn a small amount of points every time a person posts on their thread.
Many sections of the forum have a different point income. The point income of a section such as forum games is 0 since you don't need to be high quality to post there and it is pretty much fun spam. The quality of the section is what determines how many points is earned for that section. Most of the gaming sections has an income of 1. Some such as the Runescape Guides and Tutorials section have a higher income of 1.25 points. Others that are more generalized such as Runescape General Discussion is 0.75 points. Things that are considered "important" such as Announcements have an income of 1.75 points per post.
Creating a thread will typically earn you 2 points.
VIP (Exclusive Content) and the Underground area have a 1.25 and 1.5 point income per post, respectively.
Users in the VIP usergroup gain 1.50 times more points per post over registered users.
Users in the Underground usergroup gain 2 times more points per post over registered users.

The cost of each award is subject to change at the end of the first month they are counted, March. (Reset on March 31st)
Points will be reset at the end of each month. Points are live now and you may start earning them. However, this is just so you may get a feel for them. They won't officially be counted until March 1st.
