What do you hear about FK, and who tells you what you hear? Lately I have been hearing the community is trash, and packed with scammers, and every gamertag is getting turboed from users. honestly this really pissed me off. I am honestly considering either making the marketplace completely private, or Closing the marketplace completely. I will not stand for people thinking forumkorner is a bad place to hang out at because it supposedly has tons of scammers, and turboers. I am honestly really upset with this.. I need some incite or I cannot do anything to fix anything. Thanks guys...
 
I have taken the initiative of removing the download link and closing the thread to the turbo program I created. I did not plan on such a program being leaked, but I did not want to sit by and watch people make money from it. Sorry about the trouble this has caused, I realized this from the moment it was leaked.
 
Just ban all the scammers, problem solved. If the current staff is too busy to keep up with the blatant scammers, get more marketplace staff.

Just because there's scammers doesn't mean you'd need to shut it down completely, right now that's the most active section of the forum.

If everyone was smart enough to use a MM, which there are plenty of legit current ones, none of this would be happening.
 
Yeah everyone has been pretty negative about the community recently and we have seen our fairshare of scammers in the last month but we also got a bunch of new legit members who upgraded, etc. Don't completely shut down the marketplace, just hire more staff or watch users more carefully. The site is fine.
 
i agree with Phantom but also make sure that you dont make a scammer a staff member cause then he will do it just as much if not moree
 
Yeah I think that there have been way to many scamers lately and that is really stupid. People should not come here to scam i think that their should be like a Sertin post limit to post or make threads in the marketplace if not making it private.
 
I need to figure something out, which I will be thinking really hard on what to do. Hmmm I think I will be making it to where everyone has to post 10 times before they can see, or post in the marketplace.

You should make higher than that in my opinion

That will never happen, people don't like using middleman's, they would rather risk getting scammed. However I compeltely agree with you. I also think people should start using common sense while trading as most don't.

30 post limit sounds more appropriate.
 
I am usually in parties with people who are trying to turbo the tags and such. I take no part in it but I am willing to moderate the Marketplace because so far almost every tag I have seen, I know about.
 
Just close it down for a good while

Or Make it were approved members that run they stuff by you can post in the marketplace.

if they were to run everything through philly, he would be bombarded with rquests. one man can't handle it all.
