If i buy a gamertag like this G A M E and change the name to something random, could i change the gamertag on my main account to Game? please help!!!!

Yes you can if the unspaced version or any other spaced version does not exist. Take the gamertag "Fade" for example, there is "Fade" which a v1, "F a d e" which is a v1 and "F ade" which is a v2. "F ade" has to wait until the other v1's are reset before swapping otherwise the gamertag will be lost until someone nabs it after the reset.

I'm gonna guess you are buying V i b e. However, you can only change the tag if the V1 is deleted. Here's what you do, add the unspaced version of the tag you want, for example, if you're buying D o g, add Dog. If the friend request goes through, and when you view the profile, it has no gamergroup, no rep, no gamerscore, is gold, no avatar, no achievements, and the gamerpic is white with the original xbox logo, then the V1 hasn't been deleted, and if you try to swap D o g it will be deleted. If the FR doesn't go through, then you are all set.

Just checked, the V1 is still active, so if you swap it you'll lose it forever.
