Photoshop or Gimp

Which do you like more and why?

I'm personally a photoshop kind of guy. However, I have known a few that are adamant about Gimp.

Photoshop. I've never used GIMP, though, so I wouldn't be one to judge.

I'm a photoshop person. GIMP is more for people that plan on doing vectoring and tablet art, where as photoshop is more mouse friendly, I suppose.

Photoshop, imo its more advanced though things you can do in Photoshop you can also create in gimp (userbars) for example can be made with both programs and its easy as well.

I prefer GIMP as it's easier to use... plus when I use PS my brain hurts because it's too advanced. Although I do use it lots.

I'm a photoshop man through and through. Been using it for years. I found in the best for graphic design.

I have to use the basic settings... half of the stuff gives me head aches. ._.

I don't dislike Photoshop, but GIMP is great because it's easy to use and free. I used to have Photoshop, but I lost it due to formatting my hard drive.

I've only used a bare bones(default everything) Photoshop in class a few times, and it's just too much hassle for me. In Gimp I know where pretty much everything is and I know how to make it do what I want.

So I prefer Gimp.
