Ok so my phone randomly started acting up and i was listening to music and i turned on my phone and now my screen has random lines appearing based on color.
If i screenshot what i am seeing noone else can see what im seeing. The lines appear and disappear based on color. Its really annoying, if anyone knows how to fix this lmk.

here ill add a screenshot of what mine looks like. The lines go away depending on what app or page im on

I suggest tossing it against a wall because to the best of my knowledge your phone is fucked.

Get a new one OP

This is what mine does. These lines appear after around 10 seconds of a page being open or so

It wont let me upload the pic. The general idea ks. It kinda looks like the first pic

Unfortunately, that seems like an internal hardware or software failure/issue, to be honest if it is you will probably have to buy a new phone which is devastating.

Before you consider buying a new phone or destroying it you should try taking the battery in and out and restarting it a few times.

If that doesn't work you can also try resetting your whole phone a few times, that may or may not work.

If it were an Apple phone, I'd just say go to the Apple Store and get a new LCD for free (if it's either under the 1 year limited warranty or if you had AppleCare). But since it's not, you might be fucked.

Get a new phone?

I very much doubt this is a software issue. seems like an issue with the LCD display, the fact it doesn't happen constantly would suggest a loose connection between the LCD and the board. what model is this?

you could look at some disassembly videos on youtube and try taking apart the device yourself to try and assess what exactly the issue is, if you then need a new LCD you can usually find them on eBay. or if you'd prefer take it to a mobile phone repair company and see what they make of it.

good luck!
