I'm currently very frustrated with my VPS (un-experienced Linux user btw) and am about to give up on my VPS. This is pretty much my last push. I'll pay $1 plus three million gold pieces to whoever can set up my rsbots.net botclient on my Cent OS VPS.

I will log you into my VPS through my teamviewer. There will be no password shared

This means you must:

Install Java
Download and Install the botclient from rsbots.net
Show me the runescape login screen through the client as well as do a quick login on any account to prove it works.
And whatever else you gotta do

If anyone can do this, enjoy $2.50 worth of money and gold. (at $0.50/m)

Thanks,

WetRain

Fast and clean deal. I'm glad I dealt with this guy. He won checkers, and an extra 1m for typing like 30 numeral digits in liek 15 seconds

Yeah, it's all very simple if you understand, checkers is a fun game.

not simple if you have to install official jdk. most guides are not written for that.

this. he spent like an hour trying to fix it without having to install official JDK, then all a saw was a screen of code.

Wet, you've made it sound more complicated.
x04a, if all you had to do was install the 'official' jd kit then I lol. (Besides setting up bot etc.)

I first thought it was a problem with his repo, as openjdk was not being found in it. I suppose it was just pulled from the repo. I tried to fix his repos, but they're fine/original. Do you even know how to install the official jdk? it isn't a 1 liner command. Granted, it isn't hard... I never said it was. It was just time consuming to see if his problem was the repositories or not. It also did not take an hour.. The whole process took an hour, which included waiting for teh client to retrieve updates. (took forever for some odd reason). don't comment on things you don't know... there is no point in your posts.

Genius

I could be wrong but the problem sound like it wasn't being found because it wasn't looking in the right directory?

Obviously I wasn't there so I'm not going off facts just assumptions.

Wait... Do you even know what you're talking about? A repository isn't a directory. A repository is a collection of remotely based files/packages..

Wasn't saying it was, was going off this 'as openjdk was not being found in it.'

Although you weren't very definitive about how it wasn't being found, was it not there, was it there but not being found, idk.

This conversation could go on a while because everything I say will be rejected and new information will come to my knowledge, lol.
