If you're going for 99 fishing, I really wouldn't recommend Monks unless you start later and you need the cash.

At your level, I'd recommend monks to 85/90 depending if you want to Cavefish.

Well all skills have their speedy method that either makes little cash or costs a fortune.

Until you hit maybe 90, I'd stick with Salmon/Trout.

You'll hate level gaining (although might enjoy a level+ a day), but later on you'll definitely make up for it.
