lets say you bought something online, then canceled it the day after (after calling them and all that), how many hours/days does it take for the refund to go through? (to get your money back)

Instantly, if not a couple business days at the most. Shouldn't be too long if it's just a refund.

If it's PayPal, usually 1-2 business days until you get a refund.

If you're talking about Amazon, then the refund time is usually instant. Possibly a few hours at maximum. All of mine have gone through smoothly and with minimal time for the refund to come through.
