The Gamers is an official group. Well, it will be in the next 24 hours. It's been confirmed with TE, we're official, and I'm just awaiting him to make the group and the sub-forum for me.

The group is all about Gaming and every aspect of it. Xbox, PS3, Wii or even PC, if you have a strong interest in games and consoles then this is definitely the group for you!

We will have the full benefits of a custom group, including a group userbar (once it's made) and a sub-forum strictly for group member discussion only.

So, if you'd like to be (one of) the first to join the group, you can simply post your application in the following format here:

Why The Gamers is right for you: I have been gaming for 6 years now, and I have to say, I'm pretty good at it. I think that the Gamers is right for me because I know much about it! I have had many consoles, and currently own the PlayStation 3. I've played many, many games & I have finished 100+ games' campaigns, multiplayer, etc. My favourite genre of games is mainly first person shooters, and I have others as well.

I have played many more, but these are the ones I enjoy. I can definitely offer advice, and I guess I could learn a thing or two. I'd love to be apart of a group that I love.

Why The Gamers is right for you: I've been playing video games since the NES and have owned almost every console since. I've always enjoyed video games and I'm experienced in a lot of them. I know a lot about most of them and I'm also pretty good at a lot of the multiplayer games, such as Halo, Gears of War, Madden, etc.

Why The Gamers is right for you: I love gaming, I'm more of a nostalgic type gamer with my personal favourites being The Legend Of Zelda: Ocarina Of Time (N64) and GTA: San Andreas. I feel this group is a nice way to collaborate a multitude of gaming experience in one, and would allow powerful opinions to be relinquished upon gaming topics by each member; I'd love to be a part of this.

Why The Gamers is right for you: I enjoy gaming of all sorts, I've been playing on gaming consoles since the Resident Evil series started and I crapped my little pants.

Just for the record, if you wanted anything graphic related made for "The Gamers". I would be 100% willing to make them, Possibly a banner for on top of the thread to make it stand out over the other recruitment threads I've seen.

Why The Gamers is right for you: In big into gaming, I constantly read gamer magazine and keep up with future game releases, I've been into gaming as far back as I remember and since im a very competitive person online gaming is perfect for me. Mainly into the call of duty series but use to be big on computer gaming with counter strike.

Why The Gamers is right for you: I've been gaming since I was 4, playing on a windows 2000 computer. On a daily basis I play Runescape, Starcraft II, CoD4, Counter-Strike 1.6 and Counter-Strike: Source.
I have tons and tons of hours logged on my 2 xfire accounts proving I play games A TON. I'm happy to help any member of the group with games that I play and I would love to play with anyone in the group as well.
