Hey guys, I know some of you probably like Obama, but personall I think it was One Big Ass Mistake America.
I hate how he wants to go to a government healthcare and what sucks even more is that it passed. Now in 2014, when the bill takes place we will all have to go to whatever surgeon or doctor is available that day, the one that the government tells us to go to.

What are your views on this?[/align]
 
Actually, it's a good idea. But that's mine opinion.
 
I very most if you haven't read it.I will post a big long essay explaining why it us good and bad in another hour or so.
 
Alright so I took a class on this in school and I've completed the course. Many people don't like the bill at all BECAUSE THEY HAVEN'T READ IT. I admit I haven't read all 400+ pages of the bill, but I know what is happening and when.

For starters the bill will be increasing our debt putting in over 750 million dollars. However by 2014 we will get that 750 million back and have some surplus. The bill states that everyone will have health insurance or you will pay a fine. The fine will be ignored if it will be more than 8-11% of your yearly income. Individuals not having citizenship in the U.S. will not have health care. People who are rich (earn over $200,000 a year) will also be subject to a fine of around .5% for earning a lot. If that makes you mad why should it? People live off average salary of $30,000 recently and lower. If you can't live off of $200,000 there is something wrong. By making everyone have health care they will go to the doctors much faster so that they don't go in when they have a serious health risk and cost a lot more than it would in the beginning. I agree that when everyone has health care doctor's will be still small in number. However the appointments will be a lot faster. This only allows for growth in our economy though.

The only cons to this bill as far as the general population of the U.S. is concerned so far is the immediate cost of the bill (that will have a surplus of money in 2014), the fine for everyone (some deem it unconstitutional to make people buy something), a few areas in the bill as to how it is written, the amount of doctors for people in the area.

If you want to read more please look at the bill, or at least research some before you post. If you just do one simple sentence placing what you heard or what someone else told you to say you can basically leave since you have no idea what it is about.

There are currently around 30 states filing suit against sections of the bill and around 2 filing suit on their own. Most joining with Florida, my guess would be where the bill says that it can not be changed.
 
I think it's a terrible choice because it is forcing you to purchase health care. It should be your choice whether or not you should have it or not.
 
Yes, but if you don't have it and go to get help it could cost hundreds of thousands where as it could have just costed a few hundred dollars or so. In that way it's unconstitutional, however it's for the good of the general public defined in the constitution of the U.S. Constitution that can be changed according to all laws.

This is the part that I don't like. Why should someone that works their ass off, like my dad, have to pay for other people's healthcare? I think it is complete crap.
I also don't like that you won't be able to choose the doctor you go to because I live in a small town and frankly dont like some of the doctors in our area, a majority of them infact.

That was exactly what i was going to say.

I think it's a terrible idea as all the people that make money and work really hard just get their money taken away and given to people that have had their chance to work at a job and earn money just like any normal person. Plus they don't have to work for it at all.

I think its so dumb.

Exactly.
If someone says "I can't find a job" "No one will hire me" etc, that basically translates into "I'm a lazy piece of shit" and I don't care if those type of people get sick and die. It sounds cold but, Survival of the fittest. If you're to lazy and don't have enough common sense to get a job, even at McDonalds, You shouldn't be here.
 
It's not a big amount of cash for one that .5% and for two you earn over 200k! You can't donate at all? I mean seriously if you have a problem with a small tax just suck it up people are a lot worse off.

They're a lot worse off most likely because they smoke dope and are lazy.
Or they dont have common sense. That's a big problem too.
and frankly they arent my damn responsibility so why would I donate to them?
 
If you say that about them and you're that rich isn't that what you're most likely going to do too? Besides what do you want them to do with it save it up and buy an appliance that they can't use? They are in your country furthering debt so you should be concerned.
 
Pork belly politics passed the healthcare bill. In other words, manipulation of tax dollars.

Most people who "earn over 200k!" have their budget down to a science, and they usually have very exact payments for each of their business's bills.

PS. If you tax the rich factory owners too much, they will simply leave the US.
 
Like I said in my posts before it's only a small tax as in .5% which amounts to very little....And have exact payments for bills?

1) If you have a business you obviously earn more than 200k if it's big, which it would have to be.

2) If you earn over 200k a year and can barely afford it there's something wrong in that picture.

The amount doesn't matter.
It's the idea that we're paying someone to sit on their ass and do nothing while we work hard for what we've got. The pursuit of happiness. Some people pursue having a fruitful life while others sit around and expect things to be handed to them.
 
They're required to pay as well and who said that money was going to go to them? No one ever said that.

So if they dont have to pay at all, where do you think the .5% from 200k+ families is going to go?
 
That doesn't come anywhere close to saying that. Overall I said if the fine is 8-11% of their yearly income they're exempt from paying the tax. That doesn't mean that it's going to them it means if they truly can't afford it they don't have to pay for it and they wont be covered. That .5% would be going to the government for the surplus and helping pay off the bill as well as our economy.
