I will be taking suggestions on three new contests or giveaways. I am looking to start them up asap, so if you would like to see a certain something occur please suggestion it in as much detail as possible in this thread.

You should make a contest where the most "HQ'" member of the month receive like a special banner on their profile.

That's actually a really good idea.

People should be able to resell it tho, since it's holding quite a value, and some people don't even use the market.

Put a limit on 5 at a time, and make a giveaway for one permanent, and then sell 4 others for $50/month or something like that.

I like that idea however I do not think it'd be utilized much. What is the need to have your own marketplace area? People would just go to the main marketplace and essentially ignore your sub-forum.

@Philly I think one thing you have not really implemented much is the ability to have special usernames and fonts and stuff. A nice giveaway contest would be that the winner is allowed to pick a specific font and color he/she would like their username to be.

Example: A red username would be so sexy, I love the color red.

Lets be honest, it would just be a waste of space since nobody here runs a shop with constant customers.

Also wouldn't that also be the same function of ther regular marketplace ?

And I think I know where your going where you sells these subforums for a amount of time but then again there isn't enough activity to make it [font=Tahoma, Verdana, Arial, sans-serif]a wanted commodity.[/font]

That suggestion is the exact opposite of what he should do. A giveaway for groups and awards are way too overused which forces the value to depreciate greatly.

A free group change would be nice for group owners, however I suppose it wouldn't be useful to non-owners. Perhaps a giveaway of the granting of your awards like Cool Cat or something.

I am personally going to open 5+ shops within the near future.

But special username effects could be nice too.

Free upgrade to Power + or something, or create a one of a kind award... something along the lines just make sure it doesn't go out to the wrong person.
