New gaming laptop

I have a budget of around £1000.
I want to be able to play all the new games, including Dayz at med/high settings.

I was thinking about buying this one, any opinions or suggestions?

I personally hate gaming laptops because you can do so much more with a desktop, but if you really want a gaming laptop I would go with an acer.

The one you linked in the description above, will fuck you over in the end. Its not build to last, will probably overheat often because of the cooler. I know a guy on twitter that helped @Astro with his PC. PM me if you want his @, he's been internet jesus for a while.

I'd highly recommend a small form factor desktop PC instead of a laptop.

I would suggest you build a desktop but seeing as you've already said you don't want to do that I ha e nothing else to add. Personally think a gaming laptop is a waste of money because you can't upgrade anything.

First thing I do with that is put a better CPU and graphics card in it, likely a new PSU as well.
