i have a iphone 5s i bought off ebay and it has activation lock and the seller wont respond, anyone know how to bypass the lock so i can use the phone?? thanks for the help

Yeah they sold that to you because they couldn't get it to work either, the bypass methods are mostly patched, it makes it worse that you don't know the version.

If there is iCloud on it: you got screwed over and it is a stolen phone.

If not: put the phone in DFU-mode and hard reset it through iTunes (I still think it is stolen)

Most likely a stolen phone, without knowing the version it's on you will most likely not be able to unlock it.
