I'm at school and me and my friends are skipping 4th hour (last class). the school will call my mom if I don't go to class. and I need an excuse for what to tell my mom why I wasn't in the class. I have used "I was just late and she didn't see me I guess." Can anyone help?

Tell her you were making up a test because you're barely passing a class. Be like, oh I was making up a 200 point test in the library and I didn't make it to my last block because it was a long test.
 
Just say you had a substitute teacher and you sat in a different chair with your friends thinking he was gonna call roll, but instead he used a seating chart to take roll.
