My mind was just blown. The very foundations of my childhood humor are a lie.



Why did the chicken cross the road? I always thought that was an anti-joke, made up by little kids to troll their friends.


I was so wrong.


The hidden meaning behind it.... has astounded me.


Why did the chicken cross the road? To get to the other side.

What happens when you cross the road? You either get hit by a car or bleed out, depending on the road crossing. The other side? Heaven or hell.

You don't always get hit by a car and die upon crossing a road which could happen to a chicken by the way. I'm still not seeing this.
